Flickr Mashups #6
After many attempts and some very serious frustration levels, I finally managed to create a combination photograph of State Senator Bob Duelle's visit to McWhorter Elementary in December of 2007. Senator Duelle came to school to present every third grade student with their very own dictionary. The dictionaries were a gift from a Republican Women's group. Mr. Duelle spoke to the third graders about getting the best education, going to college, improving their reading, and setting goals. He also held a question and answer session afterwards.
Maybe I'll learn how to post one of the mosaic pictures of his visit soon! To tell you the truth, I was ready to quit after trying to work on #6 at least twice before. I don't handle frustration very well; chalk that up to my ADD. I guess that I like concrete directions as opposed to something that just says explore. I want to begin at START, go to 1,2,3,... to the end. That is the way that I am happiest at.
I know that I probably won't get to #23 by any of the deadlines. It takes me so long to manage even one. I hate to quit. I don't like leaving things unfinished. It seems like I should be able to do something if everyone else can but these exercises have given me real fits!
